Analytics

If you choose to allow analytics, this site uses Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use the site — pages viewed, approximate location, and device type. We do not sell this data. Choosing not to allow analytics does not limit ranking, voting, or map features. You can change that choice with the “Change analytics choice” link in the footer.

Advertising

This site is set up to use Google AdSense when advertising is approved and enabled. Where it is required, Google's consent management message presents advertising choices before personalised advertising is used. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings, or opt out of third-party vendors’ use of cookies at aboutads.info.

Votes and ratings

Votes and item ratings are recorded without any personal information. A random session identifier is stored in your browser and hashed before it reaches our database, so that one browser cannot vote twice on the same item. No IP address or personal identifier is stored alongside your answers — those columns do not exist in our database. Aggregated results are published; your individual responses are not.

Comments

Comments are anonymous. We store only the name you type (optional — it defaults to “Visitor” and is not verified), the text of your comment, and the same hashed session identifier described above. We do not ask for or store an email address or IP address — those columns do not exist in our database. Comments are published publicly on the page you post them to, so do not include anything you would not want read by anyone.

Links are not accepted in comments. Anyone can report a comment; once a comment is reported by several different visitors it is hidden automatically pending review. To have a comment removed, write to hkpking@staymg.com describing where it appears.

The comment form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that submissions come from a person rather than a bot. Turnstile receives your IP address and browser information for that check, under Cloudflare’s privacy policy. We do not receive or store that data.

Index requests and reactions

Requests for future indexes, free-text suggestions and reaction buttons are stored the same way as votes — with a hashed session identifier and nothing else. Suggestion text is never published; it is read only to decide what to build next.

Language

If your browser asks for Korean, we send you to the Korean version of the page on your first visit. Choosing a language in the header stores that choice in a cookie named rk_locale, holding only en or ko, and your choice then overrides the browser setting. It identifies nothing about you and is never sent anywhere else.

Support links

The Ko-fi link in the footer takes you to a third-party site with its own privacy policy. We receive no personal data from it.
