About Rankorea

Rankorea is an independent project for discovering Korea through rankings. Some rankings begin with official statistics; others begin with an editorial shortlist and invite visitors to add one pick of their own.

The three are kept separate. A measured ranking describes its source and period. An editorial Top 5 says that it is an editorial judgement. A visitor result is a convenience sample from people who chose to take part here.

The project is maintained by one person. Suggestions and corrections help decide what to improve next, but they do not change a published ranking automatically.
